Fei Yee, MA, LMFT

Fei Yee desires to cultivate strong and satisfying relationships through authenticity and meaningful connections. She creates a warm and safe space for individuals, couples and families to take their next steps towards their emotional and relational goals. Fei works with families trying to navigate adolescence together, as well as with young adults on issues of anxiety, self-esteem, and identity. Her approach is to meet clients where they are and see the whole person within the context of their family story.

As a bilingual, bicultural Asian-American herself, she understands that culture can play a big role, especially for first and second generation immigrant families, as well as for multi-cultural and multi-ethnic families. She values diversity and desires to understand the significance of culture and the sensitivity needed in her clients' stories.

In her couples work, Fei works with those who find themselves stuck in a pattern of conflict or disconnect. Whether the clients are experiencing a significant life transition, infidelity, or loss, Fei holds hope for building trust and creating connection through the challenging process.

Fei is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College. Before entering the counseling field, she worked in the corporate world for almost 10 years after graduating from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Finance and Marketing.

Outside of the office, she enjoys dabbling in organizing and decorating spaces, reading blogs, and traveling with her husband to explore new places.
