Travis is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity International University having received his BA in psychology from Taylor University. Additionally, Travis has completed further training and has received an advanced counseling certificate in Abuse and Trauma from the Allender Center in Seattle, WA. He is trained in the areas of individual, group, couple, and family counseling. Travis’ concentrations are in the areas of anxiety, depression, sexuality, abuse, trauma, and men’s issues. Additionally, he works with couples using attachment theory and emotionally focused couples therapy. Travis has experience working with men and women struggling through past abuse or dealing with sexuality concerns. He also works with adolescents transitioning within hurting families. It is his desire to inspire his clients to take risks that will lead them from fear to freedom by experiencing a deeper sense of love with self, God, and others. Travis is an in-network provider with BCBS IL PPO.

It is my desire to walk alongside my clients as they face their fears within their relationships, within themselves, and within their world by guiding them on a path to freedom. This path often involves traveling through fear, grief, anger, and shame. My hope is for each client to be able to live a life that is more genuine, fulfilling, and congruent with their thoughts and feelings by learning how to extend and receive love in more meaningful ways.
